Claudette Monroy is originally from Torreon, Mexico, and came to the United States at the age of 15 with her mother and younger sister. She has devoted her professional and personal life towards serving and advocating for low-income immigrant families. Claudette earned her undergraduate degree in Economics from Eastern Mennonite University and recently graduated with her Master's degree in International Education from George Washington University. She strongly believes the local church plays an integral role in building bridges among people of different cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. Claudette started attending The District Church in 2013 and joined our staff as Operations Manager in 2017.
