Taylor Roberson
Kids' City Manager
Taylor was born and raised in the DMV and has felt God’s calling over her life since a very young age. Her home church, Awaking Pentecostal Church of God, is where her spiritual foundation was laid. She served as a youth usher and in the music ministry until her first year in college. Taylor attended Morgan State University for her B.A. in Speech Communication and Liberty University where she obtained an M.A. in Strategic Communication: Teaching & Academics, Strategic & Personal Communication. She has served as an adjunct Communication Professor in Orlando Florida. During their time in Orlando, they attended Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church where she served in the Music and Kids Ministry. Her love to serve kids felt natural during this season. When they got back to the DMV area earlier this year, they decided to make The District Church their home. Taylor had attended the church about a month before their move with her sister and felt at home. Taylor and her family jumped right into ministry and immediately signed up to join a small group in Alexandria. She joined Kid’s City as a volunteer as well as the Worship team. She is married to, Andreas Roberson, and they have two kids.
