Join a Small Group
Small groups are the heart of our church. We want everyone in the church to join a small group so that you can find community and live with purpose. Those of us who participate in small groups are learning how to know and love God, how to know/value/listen to/care for/respect/love each other, how to live out our Christian faith (in other words, how to live abundantly), and how to make our city a better place.
Most small groups consist of 5-15 people who gather weekly in each other's homes (or virtually) to pray, apply the Bible or sermon series to our lives, and share life together.
Our small groups meet on a trimester basis. Semester dates for 2021 are:
Spring semester: January 25 - May 2
Summer semester: June 7 - August 1
Fall semester: September 13 - December 12

Small Groups
The Addiction and Recovery Friends & Family small group is designed to foster a Christ-centered community for those who are supporting loved ones through a recovery journey offering fellowship, understanding, and healing. The group is open to spouses, siblings, parents, children, friends, and anyone impacted by addiction.
This semester the group will finish reading Hope in the Age of Addiction by Chip Dodd and Stephen James and then work together to identify what we will do next (e.g., read another book, dig deeper into a sermon series). We will also continue our ongoing conversation around how we can learn from, support, and care for each other as a Church family working through addiction and recovery.
For more information, please contact Morgan Scott at mmscott2727@gmail.com. Group meets every other Tuesday. For now, the group will continue to meet virtually and is always accepting new members.

You can find affinity-based small groups on the TDC small groups webpage.
