Hospitality
The role of the hospitality team is to set the stage for the first impression for people who come in the doors of our church. We welcome newcomers, give directions and do our best to connect with the people around us. We give out Connection Cards. We care about details and we step out of our comfort zones. We do this because we want everyone who comes to The District Church on Sunday to feel welcome and at ease.
Hospitality Team Members generally serve one Sunday per month. There are two time slots. First service slots are from 8:00a - 11:00a and second service slots are 10:15a - 1:30p.

Kids' City and Youth City
Kids’ City provides a safe and fun environment that works to equip and support parents to raise their children knowing, loving, and following Christ. We take very seriously our responsibility to care for these kids and do everything in our power to keep them safe, supported, and pointed to Jesus.
Most volunteers are responsible for praying for our ministry, families and serving at least once a month. We have a lead teacher in each classroom who leads the Bible story based on pre-planned lessons and related activities.
All team members are required to pass a background check & attend a Kids’ City specific training.
- Kids City Teacher (6 weeks - 5th graders)
- Youth City Leader ( 6th graders and up)
If you are interested in serving on the Kids’ City Team, please contact our Kids' City Coordinator, Julia Northrop,

Creative Communications
The Creative Communications Team exists to envision and implement the overall messaging of the church. This includes visually supporting the sermon, sermon series, the Sunday service, outreach efforts and other church programs and events.
The Creative Communications Team functions beyond our Sunday services. Most of the work we do is showcased on Sunday to promote sermons and events throughout the week for our church community. Our work is also brought to life on stage through stage displays and art.
