Support Groups
Men's Support Group
We are all sexually broken and in need of healing and accountability. This anonymous group is for men who feel or have felt they can't control their sexual behavior whether in relationships or on their own and want to get healing from it. We strive to develop a safe space to share our struggles and break out of isolation, one day and one step at a time. Using a Christ-centered 12 step process, we work on holding each other accountable so that we can be in right relationships with God and others.
We invite you to walk with us on this path toward wholeness and healing. If you would like more information please email: .
Addiction & Recovery Family and Friends Group
The Addiction and Recovery Friends & Family small group is designed to foster a Christ-centered community for those who are supporting loved ones through a recovery journey offering fellowship, understanding, and healing. The group is open to spouses, siblings, parents, children, friends, and anyone impacted by addiction.
This semester the group will be reading Boundaries by Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend and explore together a discussion around defining and developing healthy boundaries. We will also continue our ongoing conversation around how we can learn from, support, and care for each other as a Church family working through addiction and recovery. Group meets every other Tuesday. This group is meeting virtually but is accepting new members. For more information, please contact Morgan Scott at .
Grief Support Group
Starting February 8th 2021, The District Church will be hosting a grief support Group. The purpose of the group is to provide a space for healing and support for individuals who have suffered a physical or emotional loss. Given that this is a support group, we ask that participants find or continue to their involvement in their small group in addition to participating in this group.
